COVID-19 precautions and risk awareness
Due to COVID-19 precautions, we are no longer allowing parents or visitors into our facility without approval. This precaution will be implemented to limit the amount of adults entering our facility, when children are present
As Alameda County eases restrictions on Shelter-in-Place orders the risk of exposure to COVID-19 grows. This is true for all life outside of our home, including work, visiting grocery stores, gas stations, or seeking in-person medical services. Despite all of our best efforts, we cannot guarantee that the school will be free of COVID-19 exposure.
Please be aware that there may be a possibility that we will be required to shut down school operations temporarily or long-term if a positive case is suspected or identified at our school or if the cases in Alameda County increases and public health officials rescind on Shelter-in-Place orders.
All our teachers have been trained in daily disinfection procedures and health and safety guidelines to be practiced and followed at school. Our teachers will maintain and practice these same health and safety guidelines outside of school and in their homelife as well.
We need all families who are returning to the school to also make sure they follow all the health and safety guidelines of social distancing, handwashing, face masks, and avoidance of high risk activities of exposure, etc.
As we are all taking a risk by returning to school, let’s all please do our part to keep our community safe.
